About

Fifteen years of finishing on the date we signed.

Qundus Contracting Co. started with three engineers and a borrowed pickup. The fleet grew and the headcount grew, but the number we watch is how much of each year's work comes from clients we have already built for.

How we got here

  1. 2011

    Founded in Riyadh

    Founded

Three engineers, one pickup, and a subcontract package for a school in Al Naseem. First invoice: SAR 380,000.

  2. 2013

    First main contract

A 6,000 m² office build won under our own name. We hired a planner before a second estimator, and the culture followed.

  3. 2015

    Plant division

Bought our first tower cranes instead of hiring them. Owning plant changed how we bid: we stopped pricing around availability and started pricing around programme.

  4. 2017

    Infrastructure licence

Classification extended to infrastructure. The first utilities corridor taught us never to trust a thirty-year-old record drawing.

  5. 2019

    ISO 9001 certified

    ISO 9001

Quality management stopped being a folder and became a system with audits attached.

  6. 2020

    BIM as standard

Federated models became a contractual deliverable on every project over SAR 50M, subcontractors included. We have yet to meet a Saudi contractor who made that move earlier.

  7. 2021

    Zero-LTI streak begins

    ISO 45001 · 14001

ISO 45001 and 14001 certified in the same year. The safety streak that followed is the number we are most careful about claiming.

  8. 2023

    Eastern region office

Dammam opened to serve industrial clients without running everything through Riyadh.

  9. 2025

    420,000 m² in one programme

    Largest delivery

Riyadh North Logistics Park handed over — our largest single delivery, design-build, on a site that was bare desert at mobilization.

Three things we will not trade away.

01

Survey before you price

An estimate produced without reading the ground is a guess. We have lost tenders by refusing to guess, and kept clients for the same reason.

02

Name the risk

Contingency hidden in the rates has no owner and no mitigation plan. Ours is a line item with a name against it.

03

Turn work down

When we cannot staff supervision properly, we decline the work. Fifteen years in, that discipline is why the safety record holds.
